The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on Thursday found once again that Russia’s drug-testing authority remains non-compliant with international standards—meaning the entire Russian team may be banned from the Febuary’s Winter Olympic Games. WADA upheld the ruling in Seoul on Thursday in advance of the Games in South Korea. Russia was first deemed non-compliant in 2016, following the publication of a report commissioned by WADA that found Russian government figures conspired with sports bodies and athletes to create a large-scale doping program. Any decision about Russian participation in the Pyeongchang Olympics will be handed down by the International Olympic Committee.
