When the owners of “Yoda,” a Chihuahua, found her in an alleyway 14 years ago, they thought at first that she was a rat. "I told her to put it down,” says Terry Devine Schumacher after her daughter brought the dog to her. Over the weekend, Yoda was named the “World’s Ugliest Dog.” Weighing just 1.8 pounds, her eyes are glassy and her tongue lolls out her mouth. She beat 28 other dogs to take the $1,000 prize.
