One Direction is going two ways: 22-year-old Zayn Malik is leaving the band after first leaving the group’s world tour early. “We’re really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally respect his decision and send him all our love for the future,” the band said in a statement on Facebook. “The past five years have been beyond amazing, we’ve gone through so much together, so we will always be friends.” The remaining members will continue as a four-piece group.
