Loose hem-lines, closed-toe Manolo Blahnik mules, and tight black headbands. Victoria Beckham seemingly transformed her original aesthetic this season, skipping out on the typical skin-tight, pencil skirt dresses and brighter colors seen on her past runways.
Beckham described her collection as "the merging of boy and girl sensibilities," showing that her foray into a menswear-inspired look last season at her Fall/Winter 2013 show, was a more permanent move.
She proved -- along with many other of this season's designers -- that the looser fabrics and boy-meets-girl inspired cuts are here to stay, with over-sized vests and lenghty Bermuda shorts. The color scheme remained neutral and muted, mainly black and white with hints of pink or maroon popping out occassionally. Beckham even took her final bow in loose black pants and a crisp white button-down, much different than the usual LBD she's typically spotted in.
Aside from the clothes, baby Harper stole the show, sitting front row on dad David Beckham's lap, sandwiched between Vogue editors Sally Singer and Anna Wintour. Yes, Harper even got Wintour to crack a smile. Job well done.
