Authorities on Wednesday released two 911 calls made ahead of the shooting, in which a female voice warns people are “trying to stab us, trying to put their hands on our grandma.”

The footage shows an officer fire his weapon within seconds of arriving at the scene of a brawl where a girl appeared to lunge at someone with a knife.

The victim, who was holding a cell phone, was identified on the same day as the funeral for Casey Goodson, a 23-year-old Black man killed by a local sheriff’s deputy.

Officers had responded to a complaint that the man was sitting in his SUV, turning it on and off again.
