In the past, Jews were assaulted so often it became “normal.” We’re in danger of the past repeating itself.
Matti Leshem is a film and television Producer. His most recent film, currently in theatres, is the award-winning The Commandant’s Shadow, which tells the real story of the Commandant of Auschwitz portrayed in The Zone of Interest. He also produced the award-winning feature film, The Survivor, directed by Barry Levinson. He is the son of an Israeli diplomat and his ancestors perished in the Holocaust.
