The House of Representatives will end its work week after its last vote Wednesday due to increased threats to Capitol security stemming from what conspiracy theorists believe will be former President Donald Trump’s “true inauguration day.”
“We have obtained intelligence that shows a possible plot to breach the Capitol by an identified militia group on Thursday, March 4,” U.S. Capitol Police said in a statement Wednesday. “We are taking the intelligence seriously.” According to NBC News, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security issued a similar bulletin Wednesday, warning of domestic extremists with “plans to take control of the U.S. Capitol and remove democratic lawmakers on or about 4 March.”
On March 4, conspiracy theorists believe that Trump will somehow return to power to take down a secret cabal of Satan-worshipping cannibalistic pedophiles. Up until the 1930s, March 4 was the traditional presidential Inauguration Day. After Trump failed to stop Joe Biden from becoming president in January, conspiracy theorists placed their hopes on March 4 instead.
