He's been out on bail for less than a month—but former Nissan chairman Carlos Ghosn has been arrested again in Japan over fresh allegations of financial misconduct. Prosecutors raided Ghosn’s Tokyo apartment early Thursday morning and said he was arrested on suspicion of breach of trust, the Wall Street Journal reports. The new allegations state that Ghosn arranged for a company he controlled to receive money that Nissan sent to an overseas distributor. Ghosn is suspected of personally receiving $5 million from the arrangement, according to prosecutors. Prosecutors didn’t name the distributor, but there are reports it could be linked to a distributor in Oman, Suhail Bahwan Automobile. “My arrest this morning is outrageous and arbitrary,” Ghosn said in a statement Thursday. “Why arrest me except to try to break me? I will not be broken. I am innocent of the groundless charges and accusations against me.”
