During Thursday’s iteration of his daily Facebook Live Q&A sessions, Newt Gingrich continued to speculate about being Donald Trump's vice presidential pick despite reports indicating that Indiana Governor Mike Pence has been chosen for the position.
Part of Gingrich's sell was that he would be another rogue to complement Trump. “I told him... he could have two pirates on the ticket or a pirate and a relatively stable and normal person,” Gingrich explained. He also suggested that he has more national appeal than Pence who has “Midwestern appeal.”
In an interview with Sean Hannity on Wednesday night, Gingrich said: "In a lot of ways, my entire career has been a little bit like a pirate."

Gingrich promised that after Trump's official VP announcement tomorrow, he'd host another Facebook Live with either him or Pence in the driver’s seat.
