Fox announced Monday that it will air a Saturday morning college football show with former coach Urban Meyer and Reggie Bush as part of the show’s hosting crew. Meyer, the former Ohio State coach, came under fire last year after he was accused of knowing about his assistant’s alleged spousal abuse and lying about it later. Meyer initially denied knowing about the allegations before admitting he lied to reporters. Meyer was suspended for the first three games of the season without pay, which was largely seen as a slap on the wrist. The new show, which will last an hour and begin at 11 a.m., will go up against ESPN’s College GameDay, a three-hour broadcast that starts at 9 a.m. ET. “With a head coach that won three national titles in 10 years... our new college football pregame show has the game covered from all angles,” Fox Sports National Networks President Mark Silverman said. “... This group is going to have a lot of fun discussing the games each week.”
