Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) raised $12 million for her 2020 presidential campaign in the first quarter, her presidential campaign announced on Monday. That haul came from more than 218,000 individual contributions. According to her campaign, 98 percent of her contributions were less than $100 and 99.45 percent of her donors can contribute again. Through digital, Harris raised more than $6 million and more than $1.1 million in the last week of March alone. The average online contribution, according to the campaign, was $28. The first quarter ended on Sunday, and the only other candidate to share fundraising totals thus far is South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg. His campaign announced on Monday that it had raised $7 million.
