House Speaker Nancy Pelosi scoffed Sunday at the idea that her caucus is divided, telling 60 Minutes that Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez’s cohort just isn’t that big. “You have these wings—AOC, and her group on one side,” correspondent Lesley Stahl said, prompting Pelosi to throw some shade. “That’s like five people,” she said. Stahl corrected her: “The progressive group is more than five.” Pelosi then shot back, “I’m a progressive.” A week ago Pelosi took what was widely seen as another swipe at Ocasio-Cortez in a call for party unity. “While there are people who have a large number of Twitter followers, what’s important is that we have large numbers of votes on the floor of the House,” she said. Ocasio-Cortez has nearly 4 million Twitter followers.
