Culture Rocking The AMA Red Carpet: The Winners and Losers It was a night of the full-length and fitted, the barely there, and the very yellow (go Rita Ora!). Here is the best and worst from the red carpet at Sunday's 2014 American Music Awards.

Really Jennifer Lopez? We think that Reem Acra dress could be a little less flowing, and a little more fitted. (Joke.) This is known as the "Uh-huh, I've been working out six hours a day" red carpet dress. Her expression is so stricken because the poor woman needs water, and solids.

Meghan Trainor, a normal person in the insanely thin-focused pop world, looks stunning in satin and lace.

Christmas has come early somewhere, and the stunning Heidi Klum has wrapped herself up as a present, using the scissors to chop off the material covering the other leg, presumably.

Hmm, well, Zendaya--here's the thing. You can wear a gold raincoat and look amazing, particularly if it's fitted and belted. You can wear gold pantaloons, and look shimmery and disco, and you can wear bra-tops and look flirty. But as soon as you put all three together, you look as if you might be on day release. Also, there is big hair (good), and lava-flow hair (call the stylist, put down the volumizing mousse).

If you've seen her as the singularly most offensive, awful reality TV star of the moment on Bravo's Euros of Hollywood , it will not surprise you that Bleona turned up wearing very little, her boobs running for the hills, and everything else barely encased. To say she is hungry for publicity requires new definitions for "hungry" and "publicity." It's unexpectedly quite demure of her to obscure her nipples.

Later, Taylor Swift was lighting roses on fire, but on the red carpet she, or a waxwork dummy of her (we're not sure), posed in emerald Michael Kors.

Ne-Yo, we love you. That smile. That jacket. That smile again. *reverie*

Frankie J. Grande, Ariana's brother, is wearing trousers, and the rest is spray-painted. Terrible, and hair needs urgent attention, and mouth open is never good...but hmm, great body.

Every red carpet needs a burst of canary yellow. Thank you, Rita Ora--and designer Zac Posen--for supplying this dramatic waterfall.

Nicki Minaj always looks so happy, doesn't she? Always ready to share a smile. Here is the world's most sunny, Pollyanna pop star in Alexander Wang.
