Report: Three More Women Say Biden Made Them Uncomfortable in Past Encounters

Three more women have come forward to say former Vice President Joe Biden’s behavior toward them made them feel uncomfortable, The Washington Post reports. Vail Kohnert-Yount, a White House intern in the spring of 2013, told the Post she was “shocked” after Biden “put his hand on the back of my head and pressed his forehead to my forehead while he talked to me” in a West Wing encounter. “I appreciate his attempt to do better in the future, but to me this is not mainly about whether Joe Biden has adequate respect for personal space. It’s about women deserving equal respect in the workplace, ” Kohnert-Yount said. D.J. Hill, 59, a writer, said she became uncomfortable when Biden placed his hand on her shoulder and then dropped it down her back at a 2012 fundraising event in Minneapolis. “It’s one thing to say it,” she said during a Fox News @ Night interview Wednesday of Biden’s video apology. “It’s another thing to show actions that you’re moving toward what you say this self-realization is about.” Another woman, Sofie Karasek, told the Post she met Biden after an Oscars ceremony and was made uncomfortable after he pressed his forehead to hers.
